How to Remotely Read Data of Smart Meters and Industry Instruments?
When smart meters or instruments are installed all around the city or the country, it is important to read the data remotely. However this is a question about how to read the data of the meter remotely on a computer or server. Blueone HJ8300 4G industrial router and smartlink software can perfectly solve this problem.
HJ8300 supports WAN, LAN, 3G/4G, WiFi and serial port (RS232/RS485). Usually the smart meters are RS232 or RS485 communication, so they can be connected to our HJ8300 via RS232/RS485 port, and the data can be transmitted via 3G/4G, WiFi or Ethernet.
Through our smartlink software, you can build a virtual LAN to connect the meter, HJ8300 and the computer/server to the LAN, next you can directly run the meter software on your computer to read the data of the meter remotely. That' s so easy!
Through SmartLink, you can set up a LAN and connect the 4G router, PLC, camera, VCR, computer to the same LAN. The configuration is simple and no need a professional. It saves time and labour.
Under one Smartlink account, you can create multiple virtual LANs for multiple projects with our Smartlink Group software. Each virtual LAN is independent and the network connection of each project is clear and easy to manage. Different projects can own same IP addresses.
In each virtual LAN, you can connect multiple kinds of Ethernet/USB/COM devices and these devices are connected in the same network.
Our HJ8300 also can support SDK and MQTT, so you can write program on it to send data to your MQTT server.
